The GK3 Pro vs. Competitors

The GK3 Pro stands out overall against all current competitors.

  • In terms of ergonomics, it outperforms all others, including the PioCreat Halot-X1 and the Saturn 4 Ultra 16K, with a more efficient and practical lid design.
  • Its screen uniformity, nearly perfect, puts it in the same league as the Anycubic Photon Mono M7 Pro and the Halot X1, surpassing the somewhat imperfect uniformity of the latest Elegoo models.
  • With a print height of 24 cm, it offers the tallest build volume among machines with a tilting lid.
  • Its only minor drawback lies in its print speed, which is slightly slower, and its versatility if you want to print 100 µm layers.

conclusion

I don’t think I’m mistaken in saying that this is probably the most comfortable resin 3D printer to use, with a full set of features as standard.
During my usage, I didn’t experience a single failure or any deformation of prints over the course of about ten kilograms of resin used on this GK3 Pro.
Its only real flaw would likely be its slower print speed compared to others, and perhaps its somewhat exclusive price. However, the brand has still tried to cater to the maker community by offering two other versions (T and B, at 405 nm) with differences that shouldn’t be noticeable for most individuals, especially if the goal is to paint the prints.
In any case, this time, I believe I’ve found it—my favorite resin 3D printer in this category!
